Daniel Scharfman has been actively making photographs since 2000 – whether around the corner or around the world.

His photograph Self Portrait Has Still Life (at right) was a semifinalist in the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition 2009, National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution. 

As a painter, Daniel is currently working on a series of large scale works-on-paper that are informed by his unquiet objects.

Daniel Scharfman owns a graphic design consulting firm in Manhattan and earned his BFA from The Cooper Union.
